This project was to create a stole for Christingle (The Children's Society) to be worn on Christmas Eve. This is the second stole I made although the is my favourite. Would like to make more stoles in the future. This was made from satin, polyester/cotton and angelina fibres. The main emblem for Christingle is the Orange to represent the world, red ribbon to represent the love and blood of Christ and sweets symbols of God's creation. The candle symbolises Jesus, the light of the world. Check out The Children's Society website for further info (www.childrenssociety.org.uk).
