Just to let you know that my work is now being sold at the Nucleus Art centre in Rochester Kent. I would highly recommend visiting Rochester as it has a good arty vibe plus the cathedral is beautiful.

The first sign of autumn

New piece of work based on the turn of autumn. This is made using heat treated techniques with acrylic felt, fabric, tyvek and angelina fibres.

These are sketches of the stonework around the library door at Rochester cathedral. The door cannot be seen by the public

without an appointment but I found images on the internet to sketch from.

I have started to play with Brusho as the effects you can get are amazing. Brusho is very effective to create backgrounds and can be used just like watercolour.

r. I have printed over the top with acrylic paint.

printing today

Started a new project based on Rochester Cathedral. I am focusing on medieval tiles and stone work and hope to make some cool fibre art work based on my stamping and art work. My stamps are made from either fun foam which you get in The Works and pizza polystyrene bases which are stuck on to card.

These are my test prints to see if my stamps work. I think they are a success!

Let me know what you think?

Working on a three dimensional piece of work in felt and embroidery.

In pieces at the moment as it is easier to sew on the sewing machine.
Two pieces together, two more to go!
